24-Hr Wiffleball Game Sets New Guinness Record

Members of the community served as judges to validate the feat, said whiffle-ball player Ben Brozich, a Girard Borough resident who organized the event. Brozich, 32, is a fifth-grade teacher at Springfield Elementary School in the Northwestern School District. The whiffle-ball players raised about $1,500 for Western Star Lodge No. 304 of Albion’s college scholarship fund. Fans also brought about 200 cans of food and other packaged items for the Northwestern Food Pantry in Albion, said Lou DePalma, president of the Masonic lodge.
