Jesse Called Obama a Ni&&er

www.biography.com - The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview where he criticized presidential candidate Barack Obama, Fox News confirmed Wednesday. The longtime civil rights leader already came under fire this month for crude off-air comments he made against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation during a taping of a "Fox & Friends" news show. In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was "talking down to black people," and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them "how to behave." Though a Fox spokesman confirmed the TVNewer's account to The Associated Press, the network declined to release the full transcript of the July 6 show and did not air the comments. Jackson — who is traveling in Spain — apologized in a statement Wednesday for "hurtful words" but didn't offer specifics.

    I can't believe it. We have enough people that can make these derogatory comments that we don't need help from the 'reverend'. They are looking at us and saying, "They don't even like Obama so why should we vote for him." How many times can one say I'm sorry? If he were really sorry he wouldn't say them, no matter who the commentator was. I'm sure he felt 'comfortable' enough with the commentator that he say what he said - but everyone is watching and waiting for a slip up, and they got it. In regard to Obama speaking to the brothas about being better fathers/men, where else are they going to hear it from? Its just like being a parent, you would rather tell your children how to behave instead of them hearing it from the street. Brothas or more likely to listen to another brotha than anyone else. Obama can't fix the world yet, but he can start with his own children. That is also what Mr. Cosby was trying to do but no one wants to hear the truth so they shoot the messenger. We need to take care of us and its okay to 'spank' them every so often and get them on the right track. Reverend Jackson is getting older and maybe he is having some health issues that don't allow him to think as rationally as he should. Does he have meds he needs to take that he isn't? Is he taking meds that he shouldn't? Has dementia begun? You know we had a president run a country with that disease. All in all, I don't think that all of these 'reverends' should be speaking out if it is detrimental to the cause. Reverend Jackson didn't get the seat [I voted for him] if we work together one of us can. Peace and blessings to Reverend Jackson.

    Jesse seems jealous, so as usually heres a black man bring another black man down just off sheer jealousy. Or he could be getting paid to do and say these things. You never know anymore.

    I mean why cant people of color cooperate? Mr. Obama is at the highest rank a perpon of color as ever reached. Some how and some way people will always try to bring him down because of the color of his skin. thats messed up.
