Who says a plain black suit has to be boringly serious? Not Olivia Wilde.

The actress may have left beau Jason Sudeikis at home, but she took some inspiration from menswear with her on the red carpet last night as she celebrated the premiere of Rush, in which she stars alongside Chris Hemsworth.

The beauty arrived in London’s Leicester Square for the evening’s festivities, wearing pieces designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini and inspired by archive items from Gucci’s past collections. The creative idea behind the simple, yet timeless ‘fit was to help recreate the glamour of the ’70s, the era in which Rush is set.

Olivia definitely proved that less is more when it comes to sex appeal. This red carpet look is just as classic now as it was sexy in the 1970s.
